Wow, I get off the the plane and the scent of jet fuel over whelms me. I
get into the terminal in Manilla, where I connect to another flight to
the small airport of Trinidad, Bohol. Once I managed my way through the
Airport, I found my gate and hopped on my flight just in time. I was so
tired from the flight before I passed out on the hour long plane ride
only to be shaken awake by the flight attendent when I got there. I step
out of the plane and look around. I see a very small airport and a farm
about 300 yards away. I can't hear much with the propeller spinning but
once it stopped I can here birds and monkeys off in the distance. I
stepped down from the plane and go into the airport where I see my driver.
His name is Juan he is very nice. He drove me to Marco's house where I
tipped him $5 he was very excited to see American money for some reason.
I met Marcos and talked to him for a while, but it was getting late and
he had to go to the market to get some food for dinner. He took me to
his house first and showed me where my room was. It was very small but
comfortable and a nice made bed. In the time he was gone I got all my
stuff layed out and started playing temple run. When he came back
through the door he had a bag of tortillas, chicken, vegetables and
guava juice. He said he bought a fancy dinner because he had a guest.
He set his stuff down and then he put his wallet down on the table. I
realized it was empty and I felt so bad he was treating me to a nice
dinner so I pulled out my money and asked him where I could convert my
money. He took me to a hotel very close to his house. I exchanged $500
for Philippino Pesos. On the walk back I gave him $100 worth of Pesos.
He refused but I told I really wanted him to take it for dinner and he
did. It made me feel good to of helped him even more. We went home and I
helped him make dinner he took the tortillas and sliced them and then
he took the chicken and chopped it up. He then diced the vegetables and
put all the food in boiling water. When it was done boiling he got two
bowls and two cups and served us our food and guava juice. It was very
good and it smelled amazing. After that I he washed the dishes and and
told me I looked tired and to go to bed.

I thought you did a very good job adding every last detail that you needed. It really gave me a sense of what it might be like to go to the Phillipines. I also really enjoyed your map. Good job overall laird!!!
I like how you talked about the plane ride and you put a lot of detail like the noise of the propeler. You also described the the monkeys noises and everything. I really like your blog and you put almost to much information but you didn't, it was perfect.
